74 evap canister line as return?

on my 74 dart 318 is it ok to use the line from the gas tank to the evap canister as a return line?

you will have to vent the tank..

you can use the line but not where it connects to the tank. that's part of the vapor recovery system and nor meant to have all that liquid run though it.

get a sending unit that has 2 ports or put one in the filler neck

I think that line is very small, maybe 1/4" if I remember right.

Yeah it 1/4 on mine. Damn I thought I for sure read on here where u could. No wonder I couldn’t find it in a search. What’s the best way to vent the tank?

Run it around the tank and up thru the trunk floor, put a couple of tite coils on it and back down thru the floor. Its too small for a return to start with, and would dump fuel in the top / inside the tank and try to cause aeration of the fuel.
