74 .Spool mounts for Magnum

Have a 70 slant 6 K member.
I'm swapping in a Magnum. Of course for the 6, I would need some conversion mounts.
I have access to a 74 V8 spool mount K member. Which way to go?

You did not say if your Magnum is a 5.2 or 5.9 size but either way I would just use conversion mounts from Schumacher Creative Services because it is the easiest way. Just choose the correct one for your engine size and note that Magnums are not listed because it has the same engine mount ears on the block as the LA engines.

I have a 5.2. With the spool K I'll need come up with some spool mounts.
Probably as much as the conversion mounts, not to mention the extra 6 K member laying around.

Swap the k. It's what? Ten or twelve bolts?

I've done it with the motor in the car, and I'm a chump.

Swap to the spool mount K frame and get some new motor mounts from Rock Auto for a 74 Duster. The spool mounts are dirt cheap and brand new at Rock Auto.
