My '75 has the collapsible bumpers. This has been discussed in other threads but mainly for Dusters/Dart Sports. I've searched all the older threads, and never seen a concise answer.
What brackets are needed to get rid of the shock absorbers, front and rear? Are Duster brackets useable on either end? I don't want to just collapse the shocks and weld them; I want the dead weight gone.
Also, do most folks just take the elastomer filler panel and tuck the bumper up close to the body? My elastomer panel is roached.
Thanks for any advice from those that have been there! If you have pics of a late Valiant/Dart with tucked bumpers, and want to post them here, great!
