Here is a rather simple question: What knurl size is the stock studs for this rear? Go ahead and google it and let me know how long it takes to find this dimension....or you can just tell me and the world at the same time right here.

7 1/16 x 1 5/8 length .570 7 1/16 x 1 1/2 length .472 rear axle.
This was taken from the Classic Industries latest catalog . Correct ? Repo parts houses have been wrong before.
 
Yeah, that's what I mean. It shows the .570 as 1973-76 and the .472 as 1960-76.
Summit shows Strange #A3130 as 7 1/16 with a .472 knurl. and lists it as universal. I do remember at one time that when looking for 3'' studs for my 67 Dart they showed the same number for a chevy chevelle .472 knurl

NOS stud knurls measure .463
 
So we'll call it .472 SBP and .570 as BBP. Does that jive? MCode, where does .463 come from?
 
Were those removed? perhaps the knurl was broached by the axle flange? Ill have to look up that Chevelle 3" stud if it fits.
