I picked up a set of SBP rims for my fast back, 15x8 with a 4.625 back spacing. I have about 1.5" between the spring and rim. Im trying to stuff the biggest set of mickeys i can under there 275/50r15. I may have to add a spacer. Has anyone changed out the studs to longer ones...which ones did you use? Part number? I measured the diameter of the old 7/16 studs, .466. Thread length is just over 3/4"

Thanks!

It looks like dorman says the stock replacement is 610-156, 1.5" oal, with a 472 knurl. I couldn't find anything with a smaller knurl, but 610-259 is a 1/4" longer, but a .475 knurl. I couldn't find any race length studs even close to your .466 knurl.
Maybe a little belt sanding of the Chevy part could make it work. I don't know if a 1/4" longer would help enough to make it worth while.

I just installed Moroso 3" studs in mine. P/N 46150. Axels out, bearings left on. Drilled holes larger in drill press for a .010 ish press fit. Pressed in. Using the Moroso deep lugs also.
