8.75 and 8.25 div. emergency brake cables interchangeable?

Can anybody tell me if 8.75 and 8.25 emergency brake cables are interchangeable? Thanks

Yes, they are, the differences are usually body specific.

They changed like said from body to body but I think there was also a year change around 72 or 73. I can tell you, when I swapped in my 8 3/4 from a 8 1/4 I reused the cables and they worked great.
