904 gearset for turbo

Building a 5.9 mag with an s475, will have a 904 trans, 3.08 or 3.31 rear gear ( have both available) 28" tall tire, around 3000lb car.

My question is would i be better off with the 2.74 or the 2.45 1st gear set?

Looking at loading the turbo vs. getting the car out the hole.

The FWD turbo Dodges used the wide ratio gear sets; I'd do the same in that car too.
