I have a slant six 904 combination in my Scamp. Is there an aftermarket tailshaft bushing that is sized correctly on the inside dimension?

lit seems that the only aftermarket bushings available are aluminum, and those seem to have an inside diameter that is too large to support the yoke. The yoke has no appreciable wear in the area where it contacts the bushing.

Does anyone know of a babbit/copper bushing that is sized correctly ?

To the best of my knowledge, the extension housing bushing on a 904 only came in babbit. It is the same from 1968 to 2003. Check with your local transmission shop, they should be able to supply you with one.
