904 Won't shift into 3rd

904 Trans recently stopped shifting into 3rd (Rev, 1st ,2nd all great)

No changes have been made,

Linkage good, Kickdown proper, disconnected kickdown same thing.

Haven't pulled pan yet

Any ideas?

Could be something in the governor making it stick......front clutch........maybe this will help.

Sounds like high gear clutches are not applied. Check shifter adjustment,to make sure the manual valve is in the correct position. If you drop the pan, and find a bunch of clutch material, you found your problem
