A friend of mine just scored a 69 A-100 truck. /6 4 on the tree. They modded a 3speed column to 4speed with a reverse lever underneath. Either way, a 74 318 may be in it’s future. I’m trying to figure out which manifolds and pan would be necessary for the swap. Seeing as the 318 was a factory option for this truck, it should be pretty straightforward. The 318 currently has abody manifolds and pan. Was in my bcuda when I bought it.
Thanks

Nice truck! I had a 69 no window van and IIRC it was pretty open underneath. I seem to recall when I bought it the motor was a 318 with a center sump in it. It had regular passenger car manifolds on it but there appeared to be plenty of room for headers under there too. Hope this helps!
