A bodies....Big Motors/new Hemi Duster

Bingo!!...I wasn't gonna say.....but you figured it out.

Rocket science???...HaHa..but thanks for the compliment....however its almost all copied/adapted from the 70's pro stock guru's....I'm just glad I was around in those days and got to see/enjoy their "stuff" firsthand

I believe someone asked about tire size? Since he didn't answer you:

Final tire sizes will be 215/75-15 on 15x4.5" and 315/60-15 on 15x8".

I love the subtle changes of the wheel base. If I didn't know you were doing it I may have been scratching my head when I first saw it...

Very impressive for sure.

Wow this car is moving along fast I bet it will be painted and ready for assymbly by the end of the weekend can you guys come do mine next weekend.

As I'm sure you can tell, the pictures are not in exact order but
are at least in approximate order.

The actual car is now in the stages of final assembly and we will
work our way in that general direction.

Awsome build, some mad skills needed for that level of kool=D>But i must add that with this level of fabrication skill,a roll bar could be installed and tucked tight with swing out bars that would only be needed for the big MOPAR weekend at the track.:-\" Roll bar,,,,good to 10 oh,,,,,,,nobar,,,,,,11.50.:happy8: I have a feeling the HEMI isn't "stock":smilebox:

I know what you mean.... but...I made up my mind a long time ago to build a street car...not a drag car/race car......not that I can't run it down the 1/4 mile for giggles if I want to....I'll just stay out of the fast guy division...or..whats that term??.......oh yeah...sandbag!

I pondered putting earlier doors on it (no guardrail)...fiberglass bumpers/alumium or fiberglass bumper brackets....but since I want/gonna drive it on the street.....thats the protection I went for....as far as a roll bar/cage to stiffin up the chassis....for the tire I'm runnin' and my chassis mods (underside/hidden) ...it's plenty stiff.

I have read several threads where the objective is to autocross one weekend and drag race the next...its difficult to be serious about both with one car.....and I'm only serious about (havin' fun on) the street...... thats just the way I see it

That's it for the preliminaries.

Today, we will be starting a new thread entitled:

A-Bodies...Big Motors / New Hemi Duster - FINAL ASSEMBLY

featuring paint, suspension, powertrain and interior.

I know I saw a discussion on using the trailer fenders to do the rear wheelwells but I don't remember where? Would someone send me the link to that thread as I am sure that I will have a few questions.

I am building a 63 Dart with a 500", 4speed, Dana 60 and it is a California rust free ride and I plan on using some of the mods on my car.

Thanks,
Mike
