I think its been a while since this has been discussed, so I thought it might be a good time to post links to videos of film clips of A bodies in movies and on TV.

Heres a 1968 clip from Mannix with Mannix at the wheel of a 68 Satellite convertible and being chased by a beautiful 67 Barracuda Formula S convertible.

Of course in season 2 and 3 Mannix drove a Dart GTS 340 convertible customized by George Barris, as seen in these two clips.

To see a new 66 Valiant convertible get trashed watch these two clips from the 1966 movie, The Flim Flam Man.

Then theres Valiant 4 door sedan vs truck in the movie "Dual"

Heres a classic scene from the 1960's Get Smart TV show that includes a 67 Barracuda Formula S fastback.

In this scene from the 1967 movie, "Guess Whos Coming To Dinner", Spencer Tracy backs his new 67 Valiant Signet 2 door into another car.

At the very beginning of the movie "Mr Hobbs takes a Vacation", Jimmy Stewart and his 62 Valiant Signet coupe are boxed in by trucks in rush hour traffic.

Can anyone else add to the list?

Al is right on the money here...

Of course, he always refers to his Plymouth as a Dodge for some reason.

Yes......."Duel" with the awful, awful, Dennis Weaver. Should'ha stayed on as "Chester." "Mr Dillon, Mr. Dillon!!......"

Just the other day, I was gassin' up the 67 and some guy wanted to know if I "remember that movie."

I had to concede that "I'm embarrassed everytime a bad movie features a Mopar, along with many of the 70's--80's really bad police chase movies."

I will say, I enjoyed "The Flim Flam Man," haven't seen that since don't know when. Laughed 'til my sides hurt.

Mannix is doing about 3mph when they wrestle with the wheel, check out the speedo.
Brady Bunch, Mike always had a Mopar either a woodgrained satellite wagon or a Barracuda or Fury vert.

Beverly Hillbillies.... Mopars Galore!!!

Yes, but I don't recall any A-bodies. Imperials, red B-body convertibles yes, but I don't remember any A-bodies. Other shows that used Mopars included, Leave it to Beaver, Gomer Pyle, Mayberry RFD, The Name of the Game, My Favorite Martian, Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet, Marcus Welby MD, Please Don't Eat the Daisys, Brady Bunch, Car 54 Where are You, Man from Uncle, Mission Impossible, Petticoat Junction, Run for Your Life, but not many A bodies.

At the beginning of this episode of Mayberry RFD, theres a nice red 68 318 Barracuda convertible.

Actually I found this episode of Gomer Pyle where Sgt Carter drives a 65 Dart GT convertible and a 68 Valiant hits a tree.

and a 63 Dart figures prominantly in this episode.

Not a real good clip here, but part way through you'll see the black 69 Barracuda convertible used by one of the characters on the show "Twin Peaks" at about the 3:34 point.

TV show Supernatural, there's a junk yard that is shown tons of times throughout the series where you can find a bunch of Demons in it... fitting for sure but not sure many people get the reference

Two Lane Blacktop,I remember a Cuda or two. When they race the Vette for tools(and win!).

This is very 'out there' I know...but in 1968 on the Doris Day show she drove a red Barracuda convertible. In the following seasons she drove Chryslers.

The Highwayman,Jim Caviezel,A body Hemi Cuda.

I remember that one, they destroyed that car during the filming. Ripped the door off, flipped it on its side, slammed it head on with another car. IIRC it also took a 12 gauge point blank through the grille/radiator.

Dazed and Confused. Full of A bodies

The first time I watched that movie, I had just finished restoring my brown 4-door valiant, just like the one that pulls in the liquor store parking lot and holds them at gun point.
That scene made my day.

I like the primer gray duster/demon too. Mean sounding car,

Im glad there is someone out there that loves Two Lane Blacktop as much as me. I got it sent to the house with Netflix (was surprised they even had it) and the wife said it was "boring". Obviously she just doesn't understand.

You spot several mopars in "The Outsiders" including the back of a Red 64 plymouth valiant 2 door with white viyl top at the dairy queen

There was an episode of the TV show Mr. Belvedere where they disassembled a 67-69 Barracuda in their apartment.

Much of the action in the 1997 movie, "Gone Fishin" centers around a blue 68 Barracuda fastback. Heres a scene where Joe Peschi takes a break from working on the Barracuda and gets struck by lightning.
