[FOR SALE] A-Body 8 3/4" axle with 3.91 SG

I have an A-Body width 8 3/4" axle for sale. '489 case with a 3.91 geared Cone type Sure Grip.
This is a converted C body axle. The housing was narrowed, the axle shafts cut and resplined and the spring pads are at the correct 43" center to center measurement. It has the big 4 1/2" bolt pattern and 12" drum brakes. No parking brake cables. Brake shoes are worn but not metal to metal. Brake lines are new.
Differential is quiet and tight. Axle bearings are the stock Timken design. New inner oil seals.
$ 1150.
The axle is in Granite Bay, CA. East of Sacramento.
I do accept PayPal. I will not ship but I will consider delivery up to 200 miles if price is met.

Shawn at River City Differentials did the machine work. I trust him with all of my axle work for the past 18 years.

Ring gear reads 43 11, this translates to 3.91.

I believe those are 11" x 2.5" drums. Just a FYI

The axle is from a 1970 Polara. It was a front disc car.

I do have a set of 10" drums that could go with the car if the buyer preferred. I have the drums and backing plates/supports, shoes but no hardware.
