Throwing this out there if a trade is possible this weekend.
I have a good, clean, painted black 8 3/4 housing with spring perches already moved inward for spring relocation.
Would like to trade for an A body housing in similar condition with perches in stock location so I don't have to mess with removing/welding new perches on.
 
If you don't get a trade it's not too hard to move them. You will need new pads but they are cheap. I did it to an 8.25. Did one @ time. Used a level on one of them tacked the one removed. Then removed other side and used level of the one I tacked.
 
Thanks. I already have new perches to weld on so really just trying to save someone, and myself, a little work if possible.
