Could be. I’m using the older console. My car is weird. No wood grain and never had hood or trunk emblems. Can’t figure it out. But yeah, I’m using a 67-68 console

No, I don’t have one at all. I’ve pieced my whole console together a bit at a time. That’s the last piece

The tray may be the same as the rear armrest trays used in B/C-bodies. Might be worth looking into.
From my smoking days in my 69 Fish, it was very small, and the dash one was not much larger as well.
The Part number stamped on it is 1A26311.
And yes the plates on your console are 68!

If that rough opening is 2-1/4" by 1-1/4", then it may take the same insert as the 69 center console ashtray (and others), which is open and has 2 bars across the middle.
The insert tray itself is around 1-1/2 x 2-1/2. The outter lip is larger so it doesn't fall through.

Last I checked, they were not made aftermarket.
