A.I.R. Delete Plate

Freshening up '72 Duster with 225 slant six. Previous owner removed factory smog pump, however, left air pipe. Local dealership states there is a block off plate available to bolt onto rear of cylinder head where pipe previously was mounted, but so far, can't find the part.

Any information where to find block off to bolt onto rear of cylinder head would be greatly appreciated.

You might look at some mid-late 70's truck applications as they were smog exempt for a period. I just cut the pipe off the plate and welded a large bolt to my plate (oil pan plug works perfect).

I used a big *** bolt, I seen others use a bolt and job weld

Blockoff cover plate p/n 3751 249 (discontinued -- I see NOS on eBay and elsewhere). Gasket p/n 4275 834.
