I recently bought some restoration parts for my Dodge from a fairly well-known Mopar resto parts specialist who shall remain nameless. They were pretty expensive, but I didn't know where else to get them, so I paid the asking price.

When the parts arrived, they were all in plastic bags marked "R.E.M.", for R.E.M. Auto Parts (obviously the place from which I bought them was merely a re-seller). I had never heard of R.E.M. before. Then I looked the parts up on R.E.M.'s website:

http://www.remautoinc.com/

and found that they were quite a bit cheaper than the prices I paid.

You might want to check R.E.M. Auto Parts out. They seem to have quite a few hard-to-find Mopar restoration parts.

Thanks for the post, I'll be checking them out!

My guess is that you have to become a dealer to buy from them. They sell wholesale only.

I am not 100% positive, but I think I bought a set of splash shields for our Firebird that was REM. Probably purchased from Year One or Ricks. Anyhow, the set was lacking a couple pieces and REM sold me a sheet of the masticated rubber for me to cut my own pieces out. They were pleasant and shipped promptly.
That said, here is an opportunity for someone on FABO to become a dealer to supply FABO and ebay... I could use several pieces now myself if they have them.

That's the kind of supplier I'm always looking for. Maybe they'll show some reasonable pricing for what I need.
