My project car apparently did come with these. One member has a pair of damaged convertible-specific ones. Has anyone had experience cutting and fitting aftermarket fastback/notchback versions successfully?
I did this on a 69 Polara, I just used a conventional hacksaw. I wrapped a piece of paper around it to establish a square cut, marked it with the tape.
The layout was done one evening and the cut a few days later, that is why the notes.
I used the mounting holes as a reference.
