a904 Problems

This seems to be a increasing problematic issue that he didn't have before.
New parts can fail though, so who knows.

I got a remanufactured carb installed on my /6 once that would stall everytime I gave it gas. I knew it was the carb because that was the only thing that changed. I increased the jet size a little and that seemed to solve it.

yeah i tryed the wiggle test and nothing.....if it was a Ford i got extra parts for anything and everything....not many extra parts yet for this that i actually need

Also a damn good call. (Really good if thats what it is)
It happens.
Spark advance plate moves all the time when driving and working those old wires back and forth.

This might sound stupid but do a "wiggle test "... As long as it will idle in park reach around the distributor area and just start wiggling wires sometime just movement from an engagement will stall out a engine if theres a broken / frayed wire barely hanging on. Same goes for any wiring near the control modules if equipted.
Worth a shot...

Good suggestion. I've found many an electrical problem doing the wiggle test. Just gotta watch those plug wires cause 30 kv hurts:shaking2:

I.ve seen some accelerator pumps do some nasty things too.
Cracked diaphragm Etc Etc...

Just be sure it's really not a Lockup.....
Lockup has a 1/2 of non spline on the end of the input shaft.
NON Lockup will be splined right to the tip / end of the shaft.

Again your lucky day... you can officially rule out a Torque converter clutch stalling it out.
Keep us informed... Always like to hear the cures.
