I've never seen a real 1968 Super Stock Dart in person so maybe someone here can tell me...When the rear quarters were cut out by Hurst, were the edges rolled under or were they left raw? If they weren't rolled by Hurst, did the guys who raced them roll the edges under or leave them be? Thanks! W

I've only seen 1 and that was years ago. The way I understand it, the hurst guys did kind of a hack job on the car. They left the fenders kind of jagged and even used a BFH to gain header clearance. These cars were strictly built to race (could not be registered for the street), so fit and finish was not a concern. Most of the race teams took the same aproach, they only wanted the car to look good from 75 feet away. If you don't get any better answers on FABO, try bigblockdart.com there are some guys there who are really into the superstock darts (the baddest car ever produced).
