Anyone know if the AC condenser in a Duster was painted black or natural from the factory?

My 70 Dart is black. I don't remember seeing a 70's car that wasn't black.

The ones I've seen did not appear to be painted per se. More like a chemical treatment. I do NOT like to see radiators and other heat exchangers with a heavy coat of gloppy drooling black paint. It affects heat transfer

Super-thin or more like a black anodizing, like 67Dart273 said. Eastwood used to have "radiator" paint.
light coat self etch black or the bugs knock the black color off
