Rusty Metal Primer ?
Bodywork?
If I do I first over coat that with rattle can fast dry sandable lacquer primer..
But I'm guessing you mean other stuff.

Why chance it, Rustoleum paint is oil base.
I would never chance it, summit has gallons of 2K HS primer for less than $100 a gallon, most likely you will use more than one gallon on a restoration.

Oh, no no, I only need to repaint the Suede Finish paint on top of the dash where the speaker and defroster vents sits. I have gotten the paint, which is acrylic, but did not get any primer. So, I wondered if I could go to Home Depot and get a little Rustoleum. Acrylic paint, and oil based paints and primers are not allowed sold here where I live. I have to drive an hour north to get that. But it is still not allowed shipped to California at all. Unless it is in a rattle can.
