I want to run a rack and pinion under the rear of my oil pan between the sump and the trans and utilize the same spindles that I have now. Has anyone ever done this? I dont want to buy a kit, just tips on retrofitting a common rack (maybe a 240SX Nissan as I heard they are good for retrofits) and I dont want to put the rack up front wiht a spindle side to side swap. Any thoughts or recommendations? Bump steer is not really an issue unless it will be dangerous.
1965 Barracuda w/big block, not alot of room for power steering box. Thanks.

You're on your own there. I really can't picture a rack going where the original drag link is. Let us know what you come up with. Good luck
