I just dug out an AFB that I've probably had stored away for over 30 years. Can somebody tell me what it came off of? My best guess would be a big block Chrysler product from the sixties. The tag number is 4299S. It also has 4299S stamped in the body & the number 66 stamped below it. I'm figuring I must have used it on my 273 at one time or another.

It's a 66 - 67, big block carb rated @ 630 cfm for what Carter lists as/for 361/383/440 engines. It does not note for auto or manual trannys.

Kit#.......902-151c
Float#....21p-188

Thats all I got so far. I have something in the garage that may tell me more, not sure if it will, but........

I think it has the adapter for the kickdown linkage on it. I know I never ran an auto, but I might have loaned it to a friend who did somewhere along the line.
