After market upper control arms

Going good with my 69 Dart resto we run into another snag. As I'm tightening the upper ball joints to spec, the UCA strips. All stock front suspension. I figure I'll upgrade to something better than stock.
69 Dart with KH stock style disc brakes. 440/727 up front. What are some suggestions? I'm not going super crazy, I just want something better than stock if I have to replace them. Not looking to do a lot of mods either. It's a street car driver. Thank you all in advance.

Some have simply applied a few tack welds to the gap between the upper ball joint and UCA collar.
Even Rick Ehrenberg has done it and suggested it.

So just weld the ball joint and then grind it off when it's time to replace?

I have a pair of Firm Feel Upper arms for the next rebuild. I have not tried them yet.

I have seen many a spot welded BJoints. Matter of fact every one I tried to remove stripped out. But then again they are all 50 years old.

Or keep it lubed with a good EP grease. There's a good chance it'll last as long as you do.

Based on my experience with the avatar, I must recommend the SPC tubular adjustable UCA's from @BergmanAutoCraft . These make alignments a piece of cake and come ready to go. I cannot say enough good about them or my experience getting them from Peter.

They made a WORLD of difference in the avatar at the track where high-speed stability is now a non-issue.

Haven’t installed yet, but Denny is fantastic to work with.
