I don't think he's joined formally, but Billy recently got himself a sweet '70 Duster.

It's a reportedly heathy Slant 6 right now (13.60s or something) but his plan is to put a old style 426 under the hood instead.

This thread is to show off the awesome work of Mr. Alan 'Al' Debevec of Wisconsin. Though he does other fab work too, check out the mods, gusseting and reinforcement work on a factory A Body K-member!

If you're in the market for k-member mods, call Al! (He's old school, doesn't humor tire kickers well and does not have a website.) He supplied the core and shipped it via UPS for under $1100.00. The quality speaks for itself.

Al does top notch work and he's a great guy too. Al and the NE Iowa crew get together at Farmingtom and the Nats if Al is there. Mopar Joe had Al do a exhaust on his 70 Bee. Looked like the early 60's super stockers with the cut outs. Wish I had a picture!
 
So Billy decided to finally come over to the Mopar side, glad to see it.
 
Beautiful car and glad Billy got his own mopar. Maybe you can find someone that can powdercoat it, Joe

I tried to get in touch with this guy a while back....after a half dozen un-answered voicemails and as many un-answered emails I gave up...just saying....

He has always returned calls promptly Doug, and told me he "doesn't internet" at all so I have no idea who you might have been emailing.

It's already been outgassed and the smalls that came with it are all blasted. He's bugging me to get it done -- inconveniently in the midst of my Really Busy Season << harumph!! >> -- so I'm sure it will be a semi gloss black soon enough.

@toolmanmike, Al told me I should make plans to attend Farmington and Indy. I didn't realize you were part of his crew :D ... what a small world we live in!

With the little S10 now added to the shop, it's kinda tight in there so I'll see about some GTX pics. It's still a roller (440 is built and on a stand) but it might get Hemi-fied now too. I'm too busy with my own work to keep up with his ever-changing plans. Lol

Tell Billy he's got a nice Duster there. There's a dozen of us from NE Iowa that go to Farmington, The Nats, and Carlisle. (first time for me last year) as well as some regional shows and swap meets in Wisc, Ill, and Indy. Al is at quite a few of those shows and I always stop by to say hi.
 
That looks like "Green Go"/"Sassygrass" in the pics.
