Alternative SB waterpump

hi guys not really A Body specific but it is Mopar related. Im in the process of building a Dragula style coffin car. Ill be using the only drive train worth using(Mopar of Course). Plans are to use my low mileage 318 from my aspen(>20,000 mi). Im trying to see what my options are as far as waterpump. Being the engine is going inside the coffin it has to be as short as possible. The farther forward I can get my engine the better. What are all my options to choose from?

The '69 steel pump is 3/4" shorter than the aluminum pump. The inlet is on the drivers side, not pass.

Electric or belt driven? I don't have the exact dimensions, but you could consider either of these from Speedmaster:

If it had enough flow I don't know why not. You might do some research into the "marine" side of things and that is just a guess.

It says 20GPM? I'm not sure what a stock pump would flow

I built a short nosed pump, aftermarket bearing and a wp pulley from a 70+ w/ AC. It bought me an additional 1.188 in radiator clearance.

I went with that number based on my desire to use a factory pulley vs making a custom one, but that's about as short as you can really go.
