That is called a square back alternator. Is there any stampings on the case?

yes but they are very weak looks like a 511 and 409424 and a small brass tag marked HD

You might take it to a place the checks alternators and have them see what the out put is.

those style alternators came in 2 variety, a 48 and 60 amp alternator. the old 100 amp ones are quite unique and have external cooling fins

to anwser your question its not likely a 100 amp one
