Hi guys,
Would I be okay to wire up my 2 wire alternator to the blue tr cable on the ignition, with the 'Exciter' cable.

Then the main 12v output feed to the starter relay + post?

Cheers,

Jon

We don't speak UK English.... LOL. What is the 'exciter wire'? What type '2 wire' alternator? Brand? Link?

I want to know if the Blue TR cable on the ignition of my 1968 dart is okay to use, previously this cable went to the alternator regulator.

The main + feed from the 2 wire alternator is going direct to the battery+ post on the starter relay.

Thanks, :)

Yes, if you want ignition switched power, that is the one. It went to the voltage regulator and also to the ballast resistor in the engine compartment. That line has power to it when the key is turned to RUN but not in START....which is OK.
