anodized aluminum such as on my '65's headlight bezels. It was scratched pretty bad and had a few dings that were not going to pound out, like right on the compound edge. So I filled the scratches with bondo glazing creme (very thin premixed filler) and built up the edge dint and sanded back to shape. Now, can anyone recommend a finish that is shiny like the original AL (sort of a light brushed finish, not as bright as chrome or polished stainless) maye something in a can? They are past getting replated or buffed out due to the rouge color of the body filler. Maybe chrome bumper paint? I shot one with argent paint but its so close to the body color (silver poly) that it looks bad, not shiny enough to offset it as a trim piece. Thanks.

What ever paint you wind up with I would suggest a coat of clear on them afterwards to help protect the paint.
