I was looking at aluminum heads and came across these ProMaxx heads . The little bit of info that i found were people that just got them and loved them or shops getting ready to port them . They all say good things about them as out of the box head . one shop said that they were one of the best heads and port blends job on out of the box heads he had seen in there price range . Did not no if any one has try them jegs part #9362 also was looking at Speed Master 746-pce 281.2149 65cc 171 port and pce281-2148 68cc 190 port . ProMaxx $1,550
    Speed master $1,100
    Speed master 190 port $1,600
    THANKS

I "think" they are all just Chinese knock offs of the edelbrock head.

Yup. The heads I've done had crapola valve jobs and the bowls were too big.

It confirms what I seen from the pics that the casting actually looks way better then what Edelbrock makes these days.
They maybe 'copies' of Edelbrocks but they seem greatly improved, just like Edelbrock copied and improved stock Mopar heads.
I was very much in doubt in getting a pair of them and would choose for the 'SideWinder' version from MopartsRacing.

Go to Marsh Performance and see the heads he is doing. You can't run an Eddy head out of the box. The Sidewinder and pro Maxx make good power. Buy them from a reputable shop that does a lot of them. When you calculate the cost of a complete iron rebuild, the import heads, machined here are a great value in cost and performance.

Call me old school, but i would buy the eddies bare, have Modern Cylinder head cnc port them and outfit them with all the gear.
Reasonable and they make excellent power
