I use to send Canadian chocolate bars (made in NB I think) down to a friend in Roanoke, West Virginia..

Just watched an hour long show on PBS about hot dogs and vendors in the US..I had no idea...sounds like they are bigger than burgers.. all good but not sure about the company that deep frys them...oh, and the one that dies them red...

You were close, "Nanaimo" bars. The town of Nanaimo is 20 minutes from me. I don't mind them, a little too sweet for me.

Watched a pbs show last night on sandwiches in America..got a hoot from the ones where they build the sandwich, then put on a handful of fries and a handful of salad..then the other piece of bread...
