Well, here are a few updates. New ball joints, tie rod ends and sleeves, control arm bushings and new strut rod bushings.
time to send it to the alignment shop.
I had a minor fuel leak somewhere in the gas tank, so looking underneath, the sending unit and pick up looked good, no leaks there, so I tried to get a look at the filler spout, hard to tell but nothing obvious there. so I thought I would lower the tank a little bit to get a better luck, as soon as I did gas started pouring out , so drained the tank , then dropped it down to get a better luck, after seeing a problem I know exactly what happened. The trunk filled up with Rainwater, so the bright idea was to put holes in the rubber drain plugs, well guess what , one of those drain plugs is right above the gas tank, so they went through the drain plug and into the gas tank, so they're fixed was to mix up epoxy and fill the hole and the surrounding area. fortunately due to the fact of the age of the tank , I ordered a new tank sending unit and filler grommet.

You're going to want to hang onto the old fuel sender lock ring and reuse it. None of the new ones seal. I know. It's stupid, but true.

here is another fine example of what I am dealing with from the previous owner / owners. Apparently they stripped out one of the transmission pan bolt holes, so they used a longer bolt with a nut on the back side and not realizing the bolt was too long ,they screwed it into and cracked the neutral safety switch causing a transmission fluid leak.

Could not get it into alignment, so offset bushing will have to go in.
Trying to get this thing buttoned-up at least good enough to take to Carlisle.
