Just couldn't take it any more, I sent the dart to the fab and paint shop. And so it begins..
AND YOU ARE doing this at the START of summer?? Well good luck. Mine has been apart for some time now......................
Badass ... subscribed
It's summer in Texas almost all the time.
Thats gonna cost some coin .
Nice solid car. The only blah blah blah I see is the 69 Camaro on the lift.
Couple of other whips in the shop..
Well all but the rear shackle mounts are finished on the USCT frame kit.. Frame connectors, front radiator support, shock reinforcements, torque boxes at all 4 corners
Flip top gas cap recess has been grafted in, mini tubs are in progress, all of the floor and fender bracing has been fully welded. Body work is getting ready to get a polyester glaze and some additional block sanding.
Mine too I wont say how long. I am going back together though body work slows me down, and I jump back and forth between body mechanical electrical etc. My order of operations is skewed but its going back together is all I know.
Body has first coat of poly getting ready to block sand and prep for another coat
Figured I’d post a shot of some color getting laid down..
Color is always nice... what is that Sassy Grass green?
We are using Tamco Toxicity. It's a bright Green with a pearl.
Nice looks like they are moving fast.
I wonder ..in what ballpark this will cost. Nice color. I'm for one am happy to see you get this car back to 'like new'.. but better. Thanks for sharing.
We decided to apply a bed liner with color mixed in on the underside and trunk. The mini Tubs opens up the rear wheel wells nicely
All in we should be just north of 11k
Wow, just Wow. I love it!
Wow I'm impressed how they are moving along very quickly and the quality of work so far looks to be amazing!
Custom Colors I chose Toxicity, there are plenty of other bad ass colors to choose from..
mini tubs open a whole new world of room
