Yes it will, with the obvious in mind like matching intake and linkage.

yep,if the /6 has a super six setup, and it depends on exactly what kind you have/get. I've heard that the carter BBD from a v8 will have holes in the throttle plates and have a slightly different choke setup.
What issues are you having?

I rebuilt the old carb but it is just worn out. I found one for sell that came off a 318 and was told it would work but I son't know. Don't want to buy another pc to put in the garage for anybody to fuss about.

i got my bbd from a 4.0 jeep. It was a hole in one of the throttle blades, no problems there, it idles well, pulls 21 in vacuum and get great gas mileage ( 20 in my wagon). 318 bbds with minimum adjustments will work fine.
