I'm doing a front disc brake conversion on my 66 Barracuda, I'm to the point of putting on the calipers and hoses and realized I don't have the bolts that hold the hoses to the caliper. Unfortunately I already turned in the old cores and don't know if the bolts were there or not. (1) Are these bolts something special or are they regular bolts? If they are regular bolts, what size and length. (2) Do the brass/copper washers go on both sides of the brake hose or just between the hose and caliper?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

These are special, hollow bolts. You need a gasket under the bolt head and between the hose (brass block) and caliper.

What year/ model are the brakes off of?

Thanks 67Dart273
The entire setup is off of a '73 Dart sport.
Do you know if the bolts are available after market or do I need to beg/plead for a good used set.

It's called a banjo bolt. All of the aftermarket hoses come with new seal washers. Some of those washers wont fit on the bolt. Good luck

Thanks RedFish, I just got back from the local Federated Auto parts store with two new banjo bolts in hand. I took everything along to make sure they had what I was looking for and I bought the last two they had in stock. My weekend just got a little brighter.

a good auto parts store should have them in the hardware section, just bring the hose and caliper with you,
