Hi guys. My 64 Valiant sounds like it's got air in the convertible hydraulic system and it takes a few seconds to start moving the top up or down. I think the plug to fill it is on the side of the reservoir and it's blocked on that side of course! Wonderful engineering lol.
So do you just fill it till some runs out? It looks that way. And what are you guys using to fill it? Oh and don't worry, I won't fill it with the pistons fully extended, I've made that mistake before on plows
I'm thinking some kind of fuel hose with a tiny funnel. Any other suggestions are vert welcome.
Thanks, Wally.

67 darts taking the back seat out gives easy access.

What fluid do you use and does it have to be bled like any other line? Thanks!
It's self bleeding. You just run it up and down a few times to work any air still trapped in the lines. Then recheck the fluid level.
