Any Videos Out There Showing How To (and not to) put Top Up/Down?

I tore a hole in the convertible top of my '65 Plymouth Signet. I don't know how it happened exactly. However, I believe there is some trick to folding the interior padding so it does not get caught on the scissors parts of the trellis. It would be wonderful to see how someone raises and lowers a convertible top on my model (and other models). I know it can be explained, but seeing is believing. Thank you.
P.S. Anyone with a camera/smart phone that would like to film such a feat?

run the top up about 1/2 way take you hand and push OUT hthe folds that would normally go into the scissor section then continue lowering the top.
