I hope that I am not going to be embarrassed by asking this, but what is this? It is mounted on the passenger side of the upper firewall on a 1972 Dodge Demon 340.

Memory is a bit foggy.. but I think that's the OSAC valve

I really don't think so. There are no vacuum hoses attached to it. Only 3 wires that don't go anywhere. 'It could be something to do with emissions. The car originally came from California.

You're probably right... I had a '72 Challenger with one of those on the firewall to. Like I said, I'm a bit foggy...

I wouldnt toss it out. Probably a very hard part to find if you are restoring a car that needs it.
