I've been collecting old BMX (1975-1993) bikes, parts, magazines, stickers, etc since 1999.

Let me know if you have something I might be interested in.

Thanks!

My son is into Hoffman bikes.
He is basically the archivist for Matt Hoffman.
He also has 4 or 5 bikes right now. 2 of them were prototype or team rider bikes from the early 90s.
I''ll see if I can get pictures.

Didn't Matt Hoffman bikes make the Evil Knevil bike? I want one of those.

I have lots of vintage BMX stuff but I haven't thought about selling it. Have to figure out what it's worth and what I can live without.

You're going to find out the values have gone up since last checking.

I'm mostly after 24" and 26" cruiser stuff. I'm 6ft. 3in., so 20 inchers just aren't all that enjoyable to ride anymore. They're more for looking at.

At one time, my collection took up a 12' X 12' room in my house + half my two car garage. Now, I'm down to about half a garage. Time to hunt for more bikes!

I've dropped off of C-List. You have to watch it every second of every day to walk away with anything. Plus, hardly anyone will ship on c-list. I live about an hour from the closest major city.

That's a rad muscle bike, btw.

I agree about CL. It's too "split second".

I am registered on the museum, VBMX and old school BMX (or whatever it's called).
I have attended the VBMX show here in Rockford every year since 2005 I think. I really just dabble in vintage bikes. I like the muscle bikes too, and really just any old bike. That's my problem. Too many to play with and no time to enjoy them.
I have about 5 80's Haro's, a Mid 90's GT PFWT, a retro Freestyler, a Project 78 DG Racer, Mongoose Supergoose, Torker and a 99 BADD and the 2009 Redline cruiser raced by Stu Thompson that year in RKFD. I also have a bunch of older regular bikes that I have picked up here and there.

How about the old hospital bills from all of my youngest stepson's broken bones and other assorted injuries?
He's 26 now and still does BMX. I've told him by the time he's 40 his bone are going to let know at least 3 days before it starts raining.

Let me check and see what I have left. I sold a bunch back in the 90's and am kicking myself for it. I have seen hutch beartraps go as high as $500 in the box and that was 5 years ago when I sold mine for $175. I sold some oakley grips last year and got more then $50 per set, owings,.5 and 3's. Had a 24" MCS cruiser back in the day and someone stole it from where it was stored, it was trick, all bullseye. I hate theives. I was in the bike buisness from the early 80's till 2005 and was fortunate to see all the cool stuff and watch it grow into the xgames madness of today. I remember when freestyle bikes came out in the mid 80's. I could go on but won't.....Good memories.

Here are a couple of mine from days past. Sadley both are long gone:(

The Mongoose was the bike I pieced together before I got my Redline in May of '83. Guess I was privileged enough to be able to custom build the BMX bikes of my dreams. I was heavy into BMX back then, even raced a few times but not real competitively.

Rode the Redline for a little while until I started skateboarding and never looked back. Both the 'goose and Redline eventually were retired to the basement where they stayed for the next 25+ years...

What I really wanted though was a KX/YZ/CR80 but the 'rents wouldn't have it.

well, my two bikes are from like 98, but i think they are cool. i got a 24 inch supercross, and a 20" supercross xl, with oddesey rims.i raced both back in the late 90's. i have about 1k into the 24", ans over 1400.00 into my xl. they just sit in the garage now, hung up like trohpies.lol

i find it funny. when i bought my new profile 3 piece cranks 180mm, i paid like 400.00 for them. now you find them on ebag for like 175.00 lol

I bought a 2007 Redline Pro 24 thinking I might try riding again, but my body decided differently. So now I got a $700+ bike thats been sitting in my garage for the past few years and it hasn't even seen any dirt yet. It's only been around the block once.
