Title says it. I have a couple 1966 Barracuda dash clusters to restore. What is the right "argent" paint? What works on the plastic (I think it's ABS). I have some plastic adhesion promoter on the way....

"argent" is the color used on the road wheels. not the dash. a bright silver is what is used with tue smallest metallic you can find. Tester's plastic model paint works well. very close to the correct color. i still recommend a plast adhesive primer.

on my 67 GT bezels the plastic is fully chromed, then argent is in one grove that runs the length and black is in another couple of groves. I have 2 NOS 67 GT heater bezels as proof. This does not mean what was used in 66 just that argent was used on some bezels

Of course it was. "Even a man on a flying horse could see that" Robert Duval

I've used Vacuum Orna-Metal .They paint metal parts, repair and re chrome plastic , polish lenses .Decent turn around time

Here is the right most dash piece for my 66. Obviously the chrome coasting has seen better days. The silver on the front and back is what I am looking to replicate. on the Classic industries site they have a few paints.....

Does the light argent grill paint work as a match, or what specific paint do you suggest?
OER Light Argent Silver matte paint
