These punks know cops will call off the chase any more if high speeds or a long chase is involved so they go as fast and far as they can in hope of this.

CA would have just followed him with a helo as well as every other news chopper in the area. Should have called in a National Guard AH-64 and put a few 30mm's through the bed at that point to disable him. High speed chases are dangerous to everyone so LAPD stopped using them. Can't outrun a chopper. Many high speed chases here are not murderers, just punks joyriding to get street cred when they are back in jail.

Actually, there's a chase out of texas where the pilot of the news chopper had to zoom in on the mopar because he couldn't keep up. The mopar finally ran out of gas, the guy bailed, ran into a field, stepped in cowshit, lost his shoe and surrendered. lmao. Can't make this stuff up.

Another case of not listening to the police. Seems to be a lot of that in recent years. It's very simple. Do what the man says and you don't die.
