Hi all. It’s been quite a while since I’ve posted on here last, it’s been even longer since I first tossed around the idea of building a shop. I’m happy to say that it’s moving along nicely!

You need to keep the old one too for parts storage.

I thought so to. So I had it moved across the yard!

Yep, that maximizes your work space a lot. I need a storage shed, and my shop is 27x31 and has a loft. I am a "packitus ratticus". What's the footprint of your new shop?

24x31x12 (walls are 12ft tall but the peak is closer to 15ft).

I’ll either do that or bring in some gravel. Most likely gravel since it’s cheaper.

Nice! Nothing like having your own shop to hide out in.

Get some of those dry stack blocks, and build a retaining wall about 12 feet from the right side first. Build it up just high enough to be even with the bottom of the building, then add your gravel. That will give you a good level place to park, and also make it level going in your walk in door. Nice shop!

Nice! I was wondering how big it was, then saw pic with person in it and put it in perspective.
                          Great work!

Nice unit, mine is 24x36 with a 10x20 out the back, I thought I was set but little did I know that over the years the thing shrinks, now I can barely get around in it. It only has 1 car in it, a 64 Barracuda.
