I'm interested in seeing pictures of your B7 blue cars. The Dart Swinger 340 I just bought is original B7 blue but because its not # matching drivetrain I don't know if I'm going to keep it that color or not.

Is B7 blue a rare color or are there hords of them made?

    Thx

I love the color myself. As far as rare, it is certainly less common than the B5 blue. A local has it on his 69 340, and I really like the way it helps highlight the body lines.

My duster was a B7 car as well. It has been repainted numerous times, now sporting a petty blue paint job that I cant stand! Here is a shot of the original B7 under the entry plate.

I'm looking for some pics too... My 69 is currently white with a crappy paint job... I am debating on painting it back to the original B7 or black. I am currently gathering black interior parts, but I don't like the blue interior so I need to find a nice blend between black and blue for the interior.

Here is a pic of my B7 trunk.

There's a guy on FABO that just re-did his A56 cuda in it's B7 color after wrecking it and that B7 is about the best rendition (imo) that I've seen. Check out some recent pics in the customer restoration section.

The trunk, jambs, floor, etc in my 1970 dart are the same color as that picture. A lighter blue. But the car was repainted at some point in a darker blue. The 1970 paint chip book for b7 is dark blue like the repaint. 1969 b7 paint chips show the lighter blue.

Did the color really change that much from year to year? I think my car was an early build or something and painted the earlier lighter blue and when it was repainted they used the darker 1970 color.

Look at the color difference in post #4 and post #5. Those are both untouched factory paint. That's a BIG difference in color. The shade of blue and metallic are different between the years.

This is what 69/70 B7 should look like. I took a pic because it’s what I’m debating putting my roadrunner back too.

My A56 is Jamaican Blue, and as with most things, once you personally have something, they seem to appear everywhere. ie cars, colors whatever.

                Exactly, maybe different suppliers
