battery disconnect

hey yall' I relocated my battery to the truck in my 67 barracuda. I have a disconnect switch that I plan to use. I was wondering should I switch the native or the hot side

LOL, I have my positive going to the switch...

For whatever reason and I can't remember now I did bypass the hard wire to the back of the alternator. That's also the spot where I clamp my positive for my timing light...

If you don't switch the alt hot wire the switch dont do jack. You gotta break the hot wire on the alt to shut off the engine.

If the alt wire goes directly to the battery and the positive is cut off....?
