Does anybody make a correct drivers side rubber engine mount for a factory big block car? I’ve done a quick scan of Dante’s, Classic Industries, etc, but I could be missing something. My original has a couple of tears, I’d like to change it while the engine is out.

It's my understanding that the '65 C body insulator is very nearly the same and will work, but may need to slightly modify the bracket.

More Information for ANCHOR 2228
Maybe @Jim Lusk may be able to elaborate on this.

The part number, according to the factory 69 parts book, is 2465861 which is an earlier part number than 1967 so there must be an earlier application somewhere.

I have never worked on an original big block A-body so I'm not sure of any other application.

Those look like the ones, the ones on FABO are from 2021 and the ad is closed, the last time the seller was seen was July of 2022, but I’ll get in touch. The ebay one, dollar conversion and shipping it’s a big pucker. I’ve got way more into the build than I’ve told the wife already.

Yes 65 C-Body applications are where the motor mount and 4-speed bellhousing came from. Bill Cowger in Apache Junction, AZ used to sell them all the time, he had refurbished motor mounts and electrical parts...

Let me check tomorrow. I think I may have a new one left over from my M code cuda.

Poly mounts fit but they suck big time.
Internally, they are designed to not pull apart, which doesn't matter because the engine is twisting, and they slide apart.
The poly that surrounds it makes it difficult to see when it fails, but it does, always.
