I think you're looking at narrowing your rear about 1.5 per side to run a standard bs of 4.5; then you will have lots of wheel options.
I don't think you will find an 8 with a 7bs no how. A 10 maybe, but they're not gonna be good looking on a classic.
If you have mini-tubbed it, then I suppose you have also moved the springs, otherwise there wouldn't have been a point to the minis,right? If not then you will have to, so the narrowed rear will fit. If you are gonna narrow it, then you can choose any old rear; it doesn't have to be an 8.75 or an A-body. If you already have an A-body 8.75, you can sell it with the axles, for good money, and purchase a B or a C. The C-axles can be cut down and resplined..You might break even.IDK about Bs. B/C-brakes if 10 inch drums, could be useful; Otherwise keep ALL your A-body brake stuff and transfer it over.
But if you are going for a certain look; then Good Luck.
