Hello everyone, I was having problems with clutch engagement was trying different fork pivots but couldn’t get fork back in with new pivot. I pulled trans a833 and bell trying to figure what bell this is to match some parts. Came off duster with 340 motor . No numbers on bell , all steel. Anyone have any ideas would appreciated . Thanks

What was wrong with the old pivot that you had to get a new one?
How about a picture of the old pivot sitting next to the new pivot?

Looks like my old Lakewood bellhousing.
Missing the block saver plate ?

Maybe it would serve to keep the "Got Forked" thread going with this issue you are still having.

FWIW, Not all scatter shields were sold with block savers. I guarantee you my LW would function without.
Anyway, now you can assemble the pivot, fork, and bearing in the bell, then bolt your bell back onto the trans to test fit for positioning and motion necessary.
You might take a look at your flywheel, disc, cover, and bushing (or bearing) while you're bell is off.

That bell doesn't even have the bolt holes for the block saver

THAT is what's "wrong"!! Wonder if someone filled them in. So far as I know, a scattershield with no engine plate is not approved for much of "anything."

OP...........You should consider checking bell-to-block alignment. Stamped scattershields "have a habit" of being a bit "off."

thanks everyone for suggestions , had the got forked post, but had to pull everything apart to verify what was in car. nothing seemed to match and couldn 't get fork back in . I bought car as running project with issues. lots of money spent by previous owners. clutch wouldn"t fully disengage, it worked and didn"t slip but very stiff pedal and would clip gears shifting. so I pulled trans and bell to check everything. I bought new clutch setup with release bearing, just trying to identify bell , I have correct A body pivot and 12 1/2" fork . no numbers on bell and no block saver plate, also bell was never drilled at bottom of flange. might just look for factory bell if I can't figure out what bell possibe its lakewood 15320.

The smaller pivot was in it. Didn’t allow clutch full engagement and was only two inches off floor to work. New pivot is taller one for A bodysmall block

Could you shoot a picture of your throw out bearing?

I have never tried to run a diaphragm clutch behind a Mopar. Especially when I was using a scattersheild.
But something about your throw out bearing looking through that side hole does not look right to me.
