the elks club and the gear head mafia car club inc of connecticut will be hosting our third annual " care packages for the troops " benifit carshow may 19th, 2018 at the elks club in south glastonbury , ct., 98 woodland street from 9 am till 3 pm. there will be live music, a dj, prize raffles every 15 minutes, a 50 -50 raffle, hotwheels race track with free hotwheels cars for the kids plus trophys for the winner of those races, there will be food trucks, race cars and other attractions and a nice showing of antique and classic vehicles. a fee of $10.00 per show vehicle at the gate. spectators are free. there will a shuttle from the handicapped parking area to the show grounds. all proceeds from this event go to making and shipping of care packages to the troops and we also donate to other military charities like the vetrans base camp in chaplin, ct.
