I am looking for the best head for the motor. I want to get a head that i dont have to do any porting on just bolt it on. any suggestions?

best head for what? what is your budget?

i would look at the RHS/Indy head....

It would be street strip. I am looking to spend about 1400. I am attracted to the eddy heads because all i would have to do is switch out the rockers and shafts and pretty much bolt them on. I pretty much want a set of head that i can bolt on and go. I have the edelbrock cam and intake and their "whole kit" looks pretty apealing to me.

there is a topic on here about RHS heads for 1295 complete out the door....i would say that are better then the eddies out of the box....

do you know who i could get these heads from and maybe what price range im looking at?

so i guess i should have read the entire thing, so do i understand that i would not be able to use my stock valvetrain with these? what would i need to buy in order to make these heads work on my motor?

So i guess i should have read the entire thing before i started asking questions. Do i understand correctly that i would need to get a new valvetrain also? what all would i need to buy to make these heads work on my motor....
-new rockers?
-pushrods?
-shafts?

I'd go with the Edelbrocks but have them checked over first before installing them,,i've had great success with mine on both my 360 and 416,i'm sure you'll be happy with them too...

If you are looking for best power OOTB, my RHS heads are far superior to the Eddy heads.
They will make more HP, cost less and they appear to run cooler based on our limited dyno experience.

no the RHS/Indy heads use LA style shafts and rockers...

FYI- You will never be able to bolt on the $1400.00 pair of eddy heads out of the box if you want them right..........They need extensive work done on them before that happens which will increase that price quite a bit!

I'm also concerned that the "10:1" pistons will be too much with the 63cc head. I'd change the cam first.

Find a set of 308' heads. They are the best flowing Mopar Cast cast iron cylinders heads available. Have some cleanup work done to them at a reputable machine shop...ect...have them magnafluxed and checked for cracks, and you'll be light years ahead of the headaches and budget restraints of any other performance head out there in my opinion....and maybe, by following my recommendation, you could afford to do even more performance upgrades :) ....like a Jacobs Electronics Ignition. 8)

So you guys are saying i could buy the RHS heads assembled and take my valvetrain from my steel heads and go for it. Sorry to keep beating his in i just want to have all my facts straight before i spend a nice peice of change. Also i am running a MSD ignition what would be the advantage to a jacobs?

Disregard that comment...I myself just did some research...and I would no longer recommend Jacobs...they used to be independent ....now it appears they have been absorbed by Accel...just stick with that MSD.

IMO, the RHS heads are a great choice. However, the chambers are smaller by far than your LA heads. So before you order them I'd pull one of your LA heads and verify the pistons are set to zero deck or not. You may end up with detonation issues with that cam and a 63cc head if the pistons are flat tops at 0 deck or taller.
